LEON CHAVIS & the ZYDECO FLAMES is a formidable band with silky vocals and high energy performance that is making the world take notice. The band has become a favorite of the trailride scene, clubs and festivals nationwide. Leon is part of the new generation of zydeco musicians, wtih his musical talent encompassing Creole, Zydeco, Southern Soul, R&B and Jazz. Dancing to Leon Chavis & the Zydeco Flames will be a treat to your feet.
TOOLOOSE CAJUN BAND is too much fun! Portland's own Cajun band is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and get your toes tapping. They've performed with great success throughout the Portland area, including the Waterfront Blues Festival.
ANTHONY LEWIS & CHERI MULLINEX are a professional zydeco instruction duo based in Atlanta. They have been teaching together for a number of years at dance camps and festivals throughout the country. Two years ago, they were a hit at our dance camp in southern Oregon---and numerous attendees asked if we could bring them back. They do breakout sessions for follows and leads to teach basic moves along with advanced styling, then bring everyone back together to work with a partner. You'll be laughing and shaking your booties.
